BHITC, its church partners and volunteers are now serving more than 140 refugees and immigrants each week...and the government reports hundreds more are on the way in 2010!

Building Hope in the City, the urban ministry program operated by Trinity Lutheran Church, Cleveland, Ohio has been named the winner of the national Lutheran Church Extension Fund’s Fred E. Leitz Award for outstanding Mission project of 2009.

Lutheran elementary schools at Trinity Lutheran Church (Toledo) and St. John Lutheran Church (Marysville) have recently been recognized for their attainment of the rigorous standards of the National Lutheran School Accreditation process.

Members of the Haiti Mission Team brought home video of the wonderful music performance that was part of their Sunday morning worship in Jacmel, Haiti.
