Elementary schools in the Ohio District are operated by either individual congregations or associations of congregations.  Varying grade levels of kindergarten through grade 8 programs are available in these schools.  Most of these elementary schools also offer early childhood programs.

6,671 students were enrolled in Ohio District early childhood through grade 12 schools as of fall, 2007.

2009 - 2010 Theme & Dates Set for Ohio District Youth Ministry

GOD STRONG is the theme chosen by the Ohio District Youth Ministry Team for the 2009 - 2010 year.  With every theme chosen by the YMT there is always meaningful Scripture text that goes along with it.  The theme verses come from 1 Timothy 2:1 - 4 & 7 . .  ."You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.  Share in suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.  No soldier gets entangled in civilian pursuits, since his aim is to please the One who enlisted him. . . .Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this."

Lutheran Schools Week Chapel by Sharon Wallace

The Lutheran schools in Northeast Ohio will gather for chapel on March 10, 2010 at 10:00AM downtown Cleveland at the Cleveland Convention Center Music Hall.  All are welcome to come for chapel, which will be student led. Dr. Bueggler will provide a message for over 1000 students gathered for worship.
