Rev. Vern L. Bok, active Pastor at St. John Lutheran Church in Garfield Heights, Ohio, serves as a part-time deployed Mission and Ministry Facilitator for the Ohio District.  His focus is on helping Pastors and ultimately the congregations in the Northeast Region to understand the broad perspectives of Consecrated Stewards, Natural Church Development, and Transforming Congregations. He is the District's resource person for Pastors serving in the military and congregations blessed to share in this outreach ministry.  Following the Board of Trustees and District Staff's visits with congregations (Project Connect), Pastor Bok meets with the Pastors to make sure there is continued communication between Congregations and District.

Rev. Bok is a coach for the Transforming Congregation process, a member of Congregation Tranformation  consultation teams, and a Guest Leader for Consecrated Stewards.  He also is a member of the Partnership in Outreach Task Force.
