 Our Ohio District Youth Ministry Team met June 18th for a planning and visioning session. During that meeting the YMT developed the theme that will be used during all the 2008 -09 events in our District. Click here for details.
 On May 3, national Join Hands Day for volunteering, hundreds of area Christians gathered as God’s “sent” people to provide a day of service and ministry in urban Cleveland. This year’s CitySERVE event, organized annually by Building Hope in the City and Lutheran High School West, was the largest to date, gathering to-gether the talents of more than 420 people to serve at 25 area urban Lutheran congregations, schools and other faith-based and social agencies.

For years here in the Ohio District a fund has been available to assist youth in attending one of our District youth gatherings. This could be the Sr. High Gathering or either of the Jr. High Gatherings. It's always been called the Ohio District Gathering Scholarship Fund.
As of March of this year, the name has been changed to the David K. Reimann Gathering Scholarship Fund.
