Adults are Needed to Serve on District Youth Ministry Team
Due to the 'retirement' of some members, adults are asked to apply or be nominated to serve on the Ohio District Youth Ministry Team. These adults must have a passion for serving God and the youth within the Ohio District.
The Ohio District Youth Ministy Team (YMT) is the driving force behind our District Senior High Gathering, both Junior High Gatherings, summer Servant Event, training seminars and the Ohio District presence at the National LCMS Youth Gatherings. The YMT meets five times throughout the year, usually in Columbus. All Team members are expected to be attendance at all meetings and events sponsored by the Ohio District YMT. The YMT consists of 8 high school teens who have gone through a nomination, essay and interview process to be selected to serve. The adults are asked to fill out a Nominations Form and mail it to Karen Dutton at the Ohio District Mission Support Center, 6451 Columbia Road, Olmsted Falls 44138.
