Stewardship Task Force Members:
The mission of the Stewardship Task Force is to promote Biblical Stewardship by educating, encouraging, and informing the congregations' lay leaders, and equip them to lead their people to joyfully use all of God's blessings in ways that honor Him.
By the power of God's Spirit who works through the Gospel, we seek to bring God's people to full spiritual maturity when it comes to how they handle the blessings of this life. That is a never ending task that can be enhanced by well written, grace oriented materials. You will find a wide variety of resources here:

SeniorFest 2009, A Day for All Lutherans!
Northern Ohio Lutherans are cordially invited to participate in SeniorFest 2009 on Saturday, September 19, 2009. SeniorFest 2009 will be held at Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church at 11680 Royalton Road in North Royalton, Ohio. The program will run from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. The cost is $15.00 and includes lunch. RSVP registration is requested by September 10, 2009.
SeniorFest 2009 is sponsored by the Association of Lutheran Older Adults (ALOA), Lutheran Home at Concord Reserve in Westlake and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. The event is endorsed by the Ohio District – Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) and the Northeastern Ohio Synod – Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).
The keynote theme, "Enjoying Ever-Laughing Life!" will be presented by Dr. Rich Bimler, who will encourage all to celebrate life in the Lord. Dr. Bimler is currently serving as a consultant, writer, and speaker for organizations and agencies throughout the world. He serves as an Ambassador of Health, Hope, and Aging (AH-HA!) with Lutheran Life Communities, as well as serving Wheat Ridge Ministries as the past President. He has served in various positions in Houston, Kansas City, Minneapolis, St. Louis, and Chicago. And he is a recovering Cub fan!
The music leader will be Dr. Michael Burkhardt, current Director of Worship and the Arts at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Livonia, Michigan. The opening and closing Music Celebrations will be based on the theme, "With People of All Time and Places", and will include hymns and songs from a variety of traditions and cultures. Dr. Burkhardt is internationally known for his innovative and inspiring hymn festivals and for his creative work with children. He is in frequent demand as a choral clinician, organ recitalist, and hymn festival leader. He has served on the music faculties of Christ College Irvine, CA (LCMS) as college organist and head of church music and music education, and Carthage College, Kenosha, WI (ELCA) as director of choral activities and artist in residence.
SeniorFest 2009 will offer fifteen additional workshops on a variety of topics focusing on the issues and challenges of aging. Workshops include Care for the Caregiver, A Christian View of Aging, 99 Ideas for Building a Vibrant Senior Ministry in Your Congregation, Un-Retiring and Back to Work, Becoming a Tech-Savvy Senior, and Nutrition for All Ages - For Our Health and Enjoyment, and many more.
