Christian Stewardship is the free and joyous activity of the child of God, and God's family, the church, in managing all of life and life's resources for God's purposes. Learn more . . .
Stewardship Task Force Members:
The mission of the Stewardship Task Force is to promote Biblical Stewardship by educating, encouraging, and informing the congregations' lay leaders, and equip them to lead their people to joyfully use all of God's blessings in ways that honor Him.
By the power of God's Spirit who works through the Gospel, we seek to bring God's people to full spiritual maturity when it comes to how they handle the blessings of this life. That is a never ending task that can be enhanced by well written, grace oriented materials. You will find a wide variety of resources here:

Ablaze!
Ablaze Partners Network is a new resource helping Lutheran congregational leaders improve mission in these five basic areas of congregational life: worship, discipleship, outreach, service and church leadership.
We are Lutheran congregational leaders and church body staff promoting and discussing best practices to improve mission in these five basic areas of congregational life: worship, discipleship, outreach, service and church leadership.
This Case Study (revised May 23, 2009) by Rev. Kevin Wilson, Ohio District Mission and Ministry Facilitator offers an in depth review of opportunity the LCMS has to bring its witness of the Gospel of Christ to the people of West Virginia.
A rich (and growing) array of stewardship resources offered by Stewardship Ministry of District and Congregational Services of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.
This is an easy reference guide for conducting a successful and spiritual appeal that fits the needs of your congregation. Congregations have been successful in raising funds by following one of these five plans. Each plan is unique in its approach but they all share three core elements of a successful campaign which are: recruit, educate and invite!
This resource links to a .pdf document describing the specific mission targets for which FIF funds will be used. The missions are organized using the promise Jesus made to the disciples in Acts 1: "You shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth."
If St. Paul didn’t have a famine in Jerusalem to write the Corinthians about and instead had a special funding appeal to reach the “ends of the earth” with the “Good News” do you think Second Corinthians chapter 8 might have sounded something like this?
25 “Ablaze! Sharing the Faith Moments.”
Individuals from across the Synod share their personal experiences of sharing their faith.
