Registering for an Ohio District Event is EASY!

 The 2008 Ohio District Fall Educators' Conference will be held at Royal Redeemer in North Royalton on October 23rd & 24th.
Every effort will be made to connect you to a Lutheran congregation near the school which you are attending.
 The Youth Ministry Team has set the schedule for the coming year's youth events. Yo Ho! Yo Ho! A Christian's Life for Me! will be the overall theme.
The dates for the 2008 - 09 Ohio District Gatherings and Events are:
- The Senior High Youth Gathering, November 21 - 23 at the Marriott Northwest in Dublin
- Junior High Gathering I in Cincinnati, March 6 - 8
- Junior High Gathering II at Sawmill Creek Resort in Huron, March 13 - 15
- Ohio District Servant Event, June 21 - 27
Student Financial Aid & Recruitment
The Ohio District LCMS Student Financial Aid & Recruitment program provides financial assistance to those students who fit the following criteria:
- Student must be a member of an Ohio District LCMS congregation;
- Student who is enrolled at one of the LCMS seminaries or one of the colleges or universities of the Concordia University System;
- Student intends to enter into full-time church work (Pastor, Lutheran School Teacher, DCE, Deaconess, etc.).
The Michigan District is sponsoring a Gathering for high school youth on Mackinac Island, June 29 - July 2, 2008. They have not reached the maximum number of registrants, so, extended an invitation to the youth of the Ohio District.

NEW! Youth Fellowship Handbook is now available! There is a new/revised Lutheran Youth Fellowship Handbook: A Guide for Building Better Youth Groups. This book is published by the LCMS Board for District Services for our synodical youth organization, Lutheran Youth Fellowship.
The Lutheran Education Association (LEA) is a professional organization linking, equipping, and affirming educators in Lutheran ministries.

The Genesis Project helps LCMS congregations start Lutheran schools. which include early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school programs.

The Concordia University System includes our ten colleges and universities. Our colleges offer programs for professional church work as well as other careers on both the undergradute and graduate levels.
