Hearts for Jesus invites the members, schools and congregations of the Ohio District LCMS to reach out in Christian love to people especially in need of a helping hand.

This year’s Hearts for Jesus project will be multi-faceted in emphasis, to match all the work that needs to be done. As we all know, on January 12, 2010 at 4:53 CT a 7.0 magnitude earthquake rocked Port Au Prince, Haiti. It was a devastating earthquake where more than 3 million people were affected, and the impact is still being felt yet today. Many remain in temporary housing and the need continues to be great all across Haiti. 

The Hearts for Jesus in 2013 will support St. John-Nottingham Lutheran School and St. John Lutheran School in South Euclid.  You may request a specific quantity of hearts for Jesus coin folders from Gordon Stuckert:  stuckertg@oh.lcms.org or Mary Stuckert: stuckertm@oh.lcms.org  A special "thank you" to Josh Miesner and Rev. Peter Marcis of St. Paul-Napoleon for producing the video.  

Ohio District Luthearan Schools have adopted the Ohio Department of Education Operating Standards.  They have been approved by Ohio as an addendum to NLSA in Ohio.

The Lutheran Educator’s Tuition (LET) Grant is now being offered by Concordia University Ann Arbor (CUAA) to all educators serving in schools affiliated with the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS).
