Prayer is one of the primary Biblical ways we encourage and support one another in the LCMS Ohio District.  Listed below are requests submitted by Ohio District congregations.

Week of August 9

Faith Lutheran Church - Kent, Ohio (Rev. Scott Kirchoff)

  • For the wisdom on how to manage the ministry assets which they currently possess.
  • For a heart to be the hands and feet of the Risen Christ until his return.
  • For unity in the Gospel. To rise above divisive secular politics.
  • For the Church universal. To be apostolic not only in creed, but deed.
  • R. Prasad to get doctor internship job back which was lost due to illness.

Faith Lutheran Church - Mentor, Ohio (Rev. Kevin Guynn)

  • Members undergoing various medical treatments. That God would sustain them during this time, and if it is His will, we humbly ask for full restoration of their health.
  • Members and our community who have either lost employment or have become under-employed as a result of the pandemic.
  • For those in nursing homes or hospitals who are not permitted visitors. May they experience Christ's presence.
  • As a Church body, we continue to find ways to share the Gospel message.
