Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12

Sharing the Good News in Lent

Lent is the season when we reckon the culmination Jesus' earthly ministry, His journey to the cross and His victory over sin, the devil and death. This season we look into our sin(s) contritely: our depravity, brokenness, sorrows, burdens, confusions, weakness and shortfalls. Thanks be to God, He gave us the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ to die for us on the cross, and to forgive all our sins. Jesus is our only salvation!!!
For Ebenezer and African Immigrant Ministry Lenten is relevant season to sharing the Good News that Jesus loves all people: He died to pay the price for all our sins and He is our only Savior.

Somali Outreach

This season one of our Somali Christians, Fauzia H., was trying to tell a Muslim young man, Hamza A., about Jesus, that Jesus is more than a prophet, and that He died on the cross willingly and was raised from the dead to save us from eternal condemnation. Fauzia's exhortation to Hamza took weeks. Fauzia persisted telling a resistant Hamza. She requested prayer for the Holy Spirit to give Hamza the faith to believe in Jesus as his Savior. With the help of God, on the third week, Fauzia managed to bring Hamza over for catechism and confirmation class. Now Hamza confesses and trusts Jesus as his Savior. He is ready to learn more about Jesus and follow Him.

OSU: This Lent, the OSU Bible study, fellowship and outreach has added two more students participating in the program.

Ebenezer: Ebenezer is worshipping in a rented building and is inviting new people. The Lord is good; new people are coming. Please pray for Ebenezer that the Lord would provide a place for worship and mission outreach.
